A draft can sound confident while getting the important part wrong. I don't judge a reply by how polished it looks on first read. I want to know whether it answers the question accurately and belongs in the conversation.

If you're using ICPSignal to prepare replies, build a review habit before increasing the amount you send. These five checks give that review a clear purpose.

Check the source and the product facts

First, read the original post and the surrounding discussion. Confirm that the draft reflects the current question, including any follow-up details. A reply written around an early version of the problem may miss what the author now needs.

Second, check every statement about your product or service. Does it support the named capability today? Are the price, availability, and integration details current for the offer you are discussing? Remove a claim you can't substantiate. Smooth wording doesn't make it true.

Check whether the offer fits the stated constraints

Third, compare the recommendation with the person's requirements. A correct description of your product can still be an unsuitable answer. If they need a capability you lack, the draft should not hide that gap.

Keep unknown details unknown. The post may say nothing about budget, company size, decision authority, or urgency. I'd remove sentences that quietly invent those facts and replace them with a useful question when one is needed.

Check your affiliation and the next step

Fourth, make your connection clear when recommending your own product. The reply should not sound like an independent customer review if it comes from the business selling the product. Remove any invented personal experience.

Fifth, inspect what you're asking the person to do. Does the next step fit their request? A practical suggestion or one clarifying question may be enough. Check the community rules and include a link only when it helps and is welcome.

  • Source: does the reply answer the current conversation?
  • Facts: can you support each product claim?
  • Fit: does the recommendation meet the stated constraints?
  • Affiliation: is your connection clear?
  • Action: is the next step useful and proportionate?

Approve the message you are willing to stand behind

The normal ICPSignal sending flow requires approval before a message is sent from a connected account. Optional automation is enabled separately, and source capabilities and account limits still apply. Whichever approach you choose, the message represents your business.

If the draft needs substantial rewriting, keep a note of why. A repeated error may point to an unclear offer description or a recurring assumption you need to watch for. I want draft assistance to support good judgment, and the review is where you apply it.
